Scoutly uses a unified, token-aware AI Agent Credit pool to power all generative AI features. Credits are metered dynamically based on token consumption (1 base credit + 1 credit per 500 total tokens consumed):

- Master Profile AutoFill (~3 credits) — Intelligent resume PDF parsing and structured profile synthesis.

- Screening Q&A / STAR Prep (~2 credits) — Synthesizes behavioral interview answers directly from your real experience.

- Single-Field Polish (1 credit) — Instant bullet refinement and impact scoring.
Browser autofill via the Scoutly Chrome Extension operates on its own dedicated limit (500/month on Free, Unlimited on Pro) without consuming your AI Agent Credits.
Managing Your Subscription
You can manage your subscription directly from /settings?tab=billing. Payments are securely processed via Stripe. You can upgrade to Pro, update payment methods, view past receipts, or cancel your subscription at any time.
Credit Rollovers & Billing Cycles
Credit allocations refresh at the start of each monthly billing period. Unused credits from the previous month do not roll over. If you exhaust your monthly allocation, you can upgrade your tier or wait for your cycle renewal date.

What happens if I downgrade to the Free plan?
All previously submitted applications and generated resumes remain accessible. You will be able to track up to 100 active jobs and receive the standard Free tier 250 AI Agent Credits monthly allotment.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your Pro subscription anytime with a single click. Your Pro benefits will remain active until the end of the paid billing period.
