Unlike traditional resume builders that render a fake HTML mockup and then generate a distorted PDF download via headless Chrome, Scoutly compiles directly from AST to PDF using our native Typst vector engine. What you see on screen is identical to the PDF downloaded and sent to recruiters.
Why Typst Beats HTML/CSS Printing
Most resume builders use headless Puppeteer or Chromium to generate PDFs. This causes major problems:
- Random page breaks — bullets get cut in half across page margins.
